Imam Fakhruddin in London

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

Imam Fakhruddin Owaisi arrived in London on Thursday all the way from the Southern most tip of Africa, Cape Town, South Africa and has already inspired many people to learn more about the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). He said "If you learn more about the Prophet (pbuh) the more you will love him"  

He gave the Khutba at the Juma Prayer at Edgware, London which is run by Sheikh Tayyeb Cham.

On Friday 29th March he gave a beautiful talk at Rumi's Cave in Kilburn London in which he talked about our Master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his amazing qualities masha'Allah.  The atmosphere was wonderful and everybody sang along to qaseedas that were sung by him and two other brothers.

London is awaiting the imminent arrival of Imam Fakhruddin Owaisi who comes tomorrow 28th March inshallah.

There are two confirmed events one at Rumi's Cave, Kilburn

 and the other at SOAS University next Wednesday at the Russell Square Campus.

Medina Baye 2013

Over 40,000 people from all over the world have travelled to Medina Baye, in Koalak, Senegal for the Great Mawlid at the Grand Mosque. The sound of the most wonderful thikr can be heard at all hours of the day and night.  The mosque was first built in 1938 by Sheikh Ibrahim Niass May Allah be pleased with him and was officially inaugurated in February 2010 led by Sheikh Imam Tijani Cisse.

                                                                                             

Tijani's Invited to SOAS University

Darul Faydah and the Tijani community have been invited by the Spiritual Dialogue Society this Friday16th November 2012 to SOAS University for an evening of thikr. It will start at 6:30 and end at 9:30.  Wazifa will be performed inshallah and there will be talks, poetry and beautiful recitations.

Imam Sheikh Tijani's UK Visit Continued

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

On the Friday 21st September 2012, Sheikh Ibrahim Khaleel the head of Daarulketebywahekmaty organisation and the Khudamu wa Faydatu Ibrahimiya along with Sheikh Ahmed Dabbagh and members of the Tariqa Muhammadiya, put on a grand conference in Luton.  The main speaker was our beloved Sheikh Imam Tijani Cisse.  He spoke about the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, in Arabic and Professor Zakariya Wright of USA translated it into English. People from all over the UK attended the event.                

Another element of the Imam's trip to the UK was the launch of his book 'Islam the Religion of Peace'. It contains various speeches that Imam has given over the years. It has both the Arabic and English translations.  This project was organised by Sidi Khalid Ajmain and his team in Singapore. Sidi Khalid brought several copies to the UK to distribute. Imam Sheikh Tijani Cisse Comes to London!

                       In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful


This September London was blessed and honoured to receive the Imam of the Grand Mosque in Madinah Baye, Senegal- Imam Sheikh Tijani Cisse . He arrived from Paris on the Eurostar at London's St Pancras Station.  The murids who came to meet him couldn't contain their excitement, elation and gratefulness to Allah and immediately burst into live melodious thikr in one of the many West-African thikr styles.

He gave an interview for a cable and Internet TV channel, from his hotel room, and spoke about the deen of Islam, Sheikh Ahmed Tijani (r.a) d.1815, Sheikh Ibrahim Niass (r.a) 1975 and the blessings of Tariqa Tijaniyya. The interview was also filmed by Sidi Ibraheem Raji and can be viewed below.

One small piece of advice from Imam in this video is to make thikr 'Hasbunallahu wa ni mal wakeel' and 'Salatul Fatih'
